Lucie S Lavarn, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Great to meet you! 🌟 As a compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Provider with 16 years of diverse nursing experience, and over a year as a nurse practitioner, I bring a unique blend of expertise and empathy to my practice. My understanding of grief, pain, loss, trauma, and depression comes not only from my professional qualifications but also from my personal journey as a cancer survivor and the experience of losing my beloved son, an Airman who was only 20 years old. My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration, where I create a safe and supportive environment for individuals to feel seen and heard. Combining my clinical expertise and personal experiences, I am dedicated to offering evidence-based care and compassionate treatment options that help guide clients through their healing journey.

Outside of my professional commitments, I serve as the Director of Care Team Ministry at Calvary Gospel Church, where I use the God-given gift of nursing to care for members of the community.

Ashraf Sefain, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Ashraf Sefain, PMHNP, is a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) serving patients with a deep commitment to enhancing the mental wellbeing of his clients, Ashraf provides comprehensive mental health assessments and personalized treatment plans that may include therapy and medication management. He offers a supportive and educational approach to care, helping clients understand their mental health conditions and access additional resources and services.

Jeanne Chutuape, MSN, PMHNP-BC

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, licensed to treat individuals with psychiatric conditions, including prescribing and managing medications. I have experience with children, adolescents and adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar, OCD, schizophrenia and other disorders. My approach is to listen to you and work with you to set goals for your treatment and recovery so you can enjoy the things that are important to you. Holistic treatment includes medication, therapy, and lifestyle changes you choose to support your well-being. It is very much a collaborative approach in a supportive, judgment-free environment. I am happy to partner with your therapist and primary care provider to customize a plan to improve your life.

I received my BSN at George Mason and MSN at Frontier Nursing University. Prior to nursing I had a career as an attorney; I earned my BA at the University of Chicago and law degree from Tulane University. At home I spend time with my family and dogs. I love hiking, playing music and experimenting with hands-on creative projects like papier-mâché and textile arts.

Dr. Ebere Leandre, PhD, MPH, RN, BCMHC

Ebere N. Leandre, Ph.D. is an ordained minister under the pastoral leadership of Dr. Timothy Wood at Calvary Gospel Church (CGC), Waldorf Maryland. Dr. Leandre is the founder and president of Amazing Grace Christian Counseling Services Inc. and works in the Health Services Division of Alexandria City Public Schools. Dr. Leandre is passionate about educating the public on self-care, mental health, and wellness, especially among adolescents and young adults. Ebere holds a Ph.D. in Public Health (Epidemiology), a master’s degree in public health (Community Health Education), and a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is also a certified mental health counselor, an author, and a publisher.

Dr. Leandre is married to Engineer (Minister) Alland Leandre, MBA with whom she co-directs the CGC Youth Ministry. Together, they are blessed with eight children and six grandchildren. In her spare time, Dr. Leandre likes to read, explore new knowledge, and spend time with her family.

Nadege Djeukui, MSN, FNP-BC, CCRN

Nadege Djeukui is a dedicated and compassionate board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of experience as a critical care nurse. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practice at Bowie State University. She graduated with honors and enhanced her skills through the DC Veteran Affairs Medical Center’s Primary care Nurse Practitioner Residency program. She gained invaluable experience during the program by rotating through various specialty clinics.

Currently, Nadege works in the neurology department, bringing her expertise and compassionate care to veterans. Nadege is currently working on her doctorate.

Nadege is an active member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), the American Nurses Association (ANA), and the Maryland Academy of Advanced Practice Clinicians (MAAPC).

Outside of her professional commitments, Nadege’s deep passion lies in her family. She cherishes quality time with her husband and four children. Her belief in providing patient-centered care, which emphasizes shared decision-making, is a testament to her commitment to her profession.
